Calabuig Red D.O. Valencia

Calabuig Red Wine it is made from the Monastrell and Garnacha varieties. The vineyards are located in an elevated area, between 600 and 800 m above sea level, about 90 km from the east, on clay and limestone soils, and in a climate between Mediterranean and continental, with cold winters and very hot summers.
The grapes are harvested at optimum ripeness, macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28ºc for 30 days. Subsequently it is stabilized, filtered and bottled.
On the palate is a pleasant wine, fruity and persistent flavour, with red berries and balsamic notes aroma.

The Calabuig range of wines has been designed in honour of the mother’s company owner, María Belén Calabuig. Making it possible to regularly enjoy a wine like her, vibrant and kind. This range has been designed by the Valencian artist Eduardo Bermejo, one of Spain´s young artist talents. |
