
Calabuig Red D.O. Valencia

Calabuig Red Wine it is made from the Monastrell and Garnacha varieties. The vineyards are located in an elevated area, between 600 and 800 m above sea level, about 90 km from the east, on clay and limestone soils, and in a climate between Mediterranean and continental, with cold winters and very hot summers.
The grapes are harvested at optimum ripeness, macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28ºc for 30 days. Subsequently it is stabilized, filtered and bottled.
On the palate is a pleasant wine, fruity and persistent flavour, with red berries and balsamic notes aroma.
